Graded manga is one of the newest frontiers in collectibles. Beckett Grading Services (BGS), the gold standard in trading card grading, only began grading manga volumes in late 2023, opening up a whole new world for manga fans and collectors alike.

We got in near the very beginning. What started as a personal hobby, hunting down first print volumes and sending them off to Beckett, quickly turned into something bigger. West Blue Collectibles was born out of a genuine passion for manga and the thrill of preserving these pieces in a way that had never really been done before.

Today we are one of the few dedicated graded manga shops in the U.S., specializing in Beckett BGS graded manga slabs and 1st print raw volumes in both Japanese and English editions. Every item we sell is authentic, carefully sourced, and shipped with care from Raleigh, North Carolina.

A graded manga slab protects and authenticates a volume for the long term. Beckett evaluates the condition of the book and seals it in a tamper evident case with a numeric grade, giving collectors a trusted and standardized way to buy and own rare manga. Whether you are collecting One Piece first prints or building a display piece, graded manga is where the hobby is heading.
