Condition Guide
Mint (9.8)
A Mint manga is essentially flawless. Even under close inspection there are no visible defects — perfect spine, square corners, bright cover, clean pages. These are extremely rare in vintage manga.
Near Mint (9.2 – 9.6)
A Near Mint manga looks almost new. It may have very minor flaws that are hard to notice at first glance, such as a tiny spine tick or extremely light corner wear. Colors are bright, pages are clean, and the book has excellent eye appeal.
Very Fine (8.0 – 9.0)
Very Fine manga show light signs of wear but are still very attractive. You may see small spine ticks, slight corner blunting, or minimal surface wear. The book is well-preserved and displays nicely.
Fine (6.5 – 7.5)
A Fine manga has noticeable wear but remains solid and complete. Common issues include visible spine stress, small creases, mild cover wear, or slight discoloration. Pages are usually intact but may be off-white or lightly aged.
Very Good (5.0 – 6.0)
Very Good manga show clear wear from reading and handling. This can include multiple spine ticks, creases, small tears, or heavier corner wear. The book is still complete but has reduced visual appeal.
Good (3.5 – 4.5)
Good-condition manga are heavily worn but readable. They may have significant creasing, tears, loose staples or binding, or noticeable discoloration. Collectors usually value these more for content than condition.
Fair (2.0 – 3.0)
Fair-condition manga are heavily worn with major flaws — significant creasing, larger tears, surface damage, or noticeable fading. Still complete and readable but show considerable handling.
Poor (0.5 – 1.8)
These manga are very heavily damaged. Issues can include missing pieces, detached covers, severe tears, water damage, or heavy markings. These are typically collected only for very rare or historically important volumes.
Note: Grading is subjective, and small differences in opinion are normal. Photos should always be reviewed closely, and professional grading services may assign different final grades.
Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! (宇崎ちゃんは遊びたい!) is a slice-of-life romantic comedy manga by Take, serialized in Kadokawa's Comic Walker and later adapted into an anime series that expanded the franchise's international profile. This is the first printing of Volume 1 from 2018, the debut collection introducing college student Hana Uzaki and her reluctant senpai, making it the foundational entry point for the series. The copy is raw and ungraded, offered in Very Fine condition, which typically corresponds to the 8.0–8.5 range on professional grading scales, indicating light wear with well-preserved covers, minimal spine stress, and pages free of significant defects.
